My Story
I've always been inspired by the power of art and design to make the world a more beautiful place. I believe clothing that inspires confidence is one of the most powerful ways to do this. I started up cycling clothes out of my own closet as a hobby because I wanted new clothes. That hobby developed into making original pieces and eventually selling them at pop ups and parks in nyc. All clothing and fabric are sustainably sourced through secondhand stores. I enjoy exploring all kinds of creative outlets in addition to making clothing including graphic design and many forms of fine art. You can see some of work in other mediums on the blog and gallery section of this site. This site is meant to function as an interactive shopping experience as well as a living portfolio piece featuring my most recent works as well as archived favorites in additional mediums. aRt K8 is a culmination of my passion for the arts, desire to make the world a more beautiful place, and my educational background in strategic design and business management.
